Eterna 3watt LED Non Maintained Emergency Light 3hrs Backup

The Eterna LED Emergency Bulkhead can be installed as a maintained or non-maintained emergency light, providing up to 3 hours of backup operation in the event of a power cut. As a maintained light, the fitting is used normally and stays switched on even when mains power is lost. A non-maintained light is permanently kept switched off, and only activates during a power cut.

Remote switching is also possible when using this fitting as a maintained emergency light. This facility means the light can be switched off, and will automatically activate during a power cut as if it were non-maintained.

A tough, polycarbonate construction protects the Eterna Bulkhead against vandalism, accidental breakage, and corrosion. On top of that, an IP65 rating signifies completely dust-tight sealing and a resistance to jets of water. That means a tolerance for jet-cleaning, as well as full weatherproofing.

Helped by its use of LEDs, this emergency bulkhead has an extremely slim, compact design that is unobtrusive but every bit as efficient as fluorescent bulkheads.

In common with all LED fittings, some of the advantages of an LED bulkhead include instant-on full power, reliable low-temperature performance, resilience to shock or vibration, no mercury content, and infinite frequent-switching tolerance.

The Eterna LED Emergency Bulkhead comes with a hinged gear tray and BESA entry fixings for easy installation and maintenance. It is ‘F’ certified, meaning suitability for direct mounting onto any normally flammable surface (most regular building surfaces, including wood).
